The Headsapce SAFEMinds program, a Victorian Government initiative, was made to facilitate the early identification and intervention in mental health issues in primary and secondary school students, with problems such as anxiety and depression, empowering the whole school community – parents, teachers and school leaders.
The online training resource was created to present interactive video stories based on 4 students (total 1 hour of video), in the school and home environment, to help recognise the signs that a young person is dealing with mental health issues, and to know when and where to refer them for professional support.
